World Teacher Day
Share
Almost everybody has a favorite teacher, someone who went above and beyond to encourage you because they could see your potential. On October 5, take time to celebrate World Teachers’ Day.
This holiday marks the anniversary of the adoption of the 1966 UNESCO Recommendation concerning the Status of Teachers. It sets standards regarding the rights and responsibilities of teachers for their initial preparation, further education, recruitment, employment, and learning conditions.
How to Celebrate your teacher!
You can always say THANK YOU! To your teacher. We all remember or have a special teacher that gave us that extra push or attention to help us get through a hard day, or a hard year. There are many ways to thank teachers. We have a few ideas.
Express your thanks through food, thought, or kindness. With Covid, many relationships between teachers and students have created a significant impact. Â
Surprise your teacher with a gift!
Find a special & meaningful gift for your child’s teacher. Of course, your child could make them a gift, but we all know everyone loves a nice piece of jewelry, Try one of our heart shaped pieces of jewelry https://maddalonijewelers.com/search?q=heart
Whatever you decide to do, getting involved with World Teachers’ Day is fun and can be simple too! Take some time this October to thank the educators that have worked so hard throughout the challenges of these last few years. We can honor those teachers that invested in us, and in some cases, changed the course of our lives.
If you are a teacher, please come into Maddaloni Jewelers and let us know! We will have a special something for you!
